Summer Theatre Camp 2024
featuring the stage production Finding Nemo Jr. and the All-New Theatre Tech Camp
The Spanish Trail Playhouse Summer Theatre Camp was a one-week program taking place in June 2024. Throughout the week, campers engaged in a variety of activities centered around acting, pantomime, improvisation, musical theatre dance, singing, and other performance elements. Each day, campers worked on learning and rehearsing a one-hour musical, Finding Nemo Jr. and having a tremendous amount of fun. Following the week of camp, the musical was performed for friends, family, and the community.
The first Spanish Trail Playhouse Summer Technical Theatre Camp was a one-of-a-kind immersive experience for ages 14-17! They experienced a deep dive into the world of stagecraft with hands-on training in costuming, technical design, and set construction. Led by Kevin Russell, campers explored every aspect of production, from concept to execution, in a collaborative environment. Campers worked together to fully mount a production, creating stunning underwater landscapes and culminating in a spectacular performance of Finding Nemo Jr.
